Our Story

It all began way back in 1985 while in college that I decided it might be fun to become a CPR Instructor. I was RIGHT! It’s been a great ride since then and I have really enjoyed meeting and teaching thousands of folks the ever so important life saving skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Lots has changed and evolved in CPR over the decades (for the better!) and I absolutely LOVE teaching my students just how easy it is to perform CPR. Some have even been able to safe loved ones lives because of what they have learned from the class! That changed my life. CPR has always been my passion, but now has become my mission to show anyone and everyone the ease and importance of knowing what to do in life threatening situations.

I’m now a retired high school teacher (27 years), Licensed Athletic Trainer, and National Registry Emergency Medical Technician. I am so excited and looking forward to using my experiences to teach CPR to any and ALL that want to learn how to help someone in need. My instructors and I are very invested in taking the ‘scariness’ out of CPR and helping you to learn while having fun in our classes. Come join us, you won’t regret it. It may be the most important class that you have ever taken.

Our Teaching Methods

We ensure that every single student, no matter their preferred learning style, deeply understands and can apply the information they learn. Our teaching styles consists of auditory delivery, the use of visual aids, and PLENTY of hands on practice. Each student receives their own manikin to practice on. We believe the best way to learn and feel comfortable using CPR and First Aid skills is by actually practicing them. The instructors always connect personal experiences to their teaching and encourage participants to contribute any stories they may have as well.
